This policy explains what data HighRisk Media (“we”) collects on highrisk.news, in the Telegram bot @HighRiskMediaBot, the channel @highrisk_media and our Telegram groups, and how we use it.
What we collect
- Telegram profile data you share with the bot: user ID, username, first and last name, language, Premium status. We keep a history of username and name changes to protect our groups from spammers.
- Profile answers: role, verticals, level, markets, goals, company — only what you choose to enter.
- Resume, if you post one: position, experience, format, location, salary expectations, English level, your pitch, LinkedIn link or PDF file.
- Payments: plan, amount, date and payment ID from Telegram Stars or Crypto Pay (@CryptoBot). We never receive card numbers or wallet keys.
- Activity logs: bot commands, join requests, moderation actions, broadcast delivery — to run the service, fight spam and fix errors.
- Website: we do not use advertising trackers. Your browser stores small settings (theme, “install app” prompt) locally. Our hosting provider Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP address to deliver and protect the site.
Why we use it
- To give you access to the community, HighRisk Private and the resume base.
- To send you news and offers that match your profile. You can stop messages anytime by blocking the bot.
- To protect our chats from bots, spam and fraud.
- To process payments and subscriptions and answer support requests.
Who sees your data
- Resumes: recruiters see an anonymous card (no name or contacts). When a recruiter opens your card, they receive your full resume and contacts. You agree to this when you tap “Publish”, and we notify you every time your card is opened.
- Introduction cards in HighRisk Private are posted only if you tap the button to publish them.
- We do not sell your data. Service providers that process data on our behalf: Telegram, Cloudflare (hosting and database), Crypto Pay (crypto payments), Anthropic (AI processing of text, e.g. for moderation and support replies).
How long we keep it
Profile and logs — while you use the service. Resumes — until you delete them. Payment records — as long as required for accounting and disputes.
Your choices
- Edit your profile: /profile. Hide or delete your resume: /resume.
- Ask us to export or delete all your data: write to @highrisk_team. We reply within 7 days.
